Mondays 5:30-6:45pm

We practice mindfulness, breath work, strength and flexibility all in a fun and safe environment. Kids will also learn to destress and focus. Planting seeds for what yoga has to offer on the mat can really help them deal with situations off the mat. Promotes self-confidence, awareness and self-control which can be applied to everyday situations.

Intro Yoga Series
Sept 14, 21, 28, Oct 12, 19 (No class Oct 5)

This introductory series is intended for those brand new to yoga or those who prefer a slower pace and additional instruction in the poses. Elements of a vinyasa practice are explained more thoroughly – with emphasis on proper breathing, alignment, and mindful movement. Priority is placed on the foundational postures, such as sun salutations, standing poses, and beginning backbends and balancing poses. Specific attention will be given to the alignment cues and actions of the poses to develop confidence and stability in the practice.
$100 for the 5 week series

Handmade Mala Beads for Sale
Each set of beads has a handcrafted card that describes the energy of the beads used to make it so you can get a set of beads to meet your individual needs and taste.
A mala is a strand of beads, traditionally used for counting during mantra meditations. Malas can consist of 108 beads. There are many theories behind the significance of the number 108 which has long been considered a sacred number. It is thought that the number 1 stands for God, the universe or your own highest truth; 0 stands for emptiness and humility in spiritual practice; and 8 stands for infinity and timelessness. Malas have been used since at least the 10th century as a meditation aid. They allow us to focus the mind on a single pointed task as we work through our meditation. If you practice meditation and yoga, a mala can be a powerful tool in your quest for wellness and clearer understanding.
